Pioneer Jr-Sr High School

Congratulations to the Pioneer Jr-Sr High School varsity boys' golf team for advancing to the 2025 IHSAA Boys' Golf Regional Championship as a team! The Panthers shot a 330 to finish in third place at the 2025 IHSAA Boys' Golf Sectional Championship at Dykeman Park Golf Course in Logansport on Fri June 6 to qualify for the regional at Sandy Pines Golf Club in DeMotte on Thu June 12. Logansport (298) defended its home course and defeated Twin Lakes (299) by one stroke to claim the sectional title; while, Pioneer (330) edged Rochester Community (330) for third place after the Panthers beat the Zebras on the fifth player's score tiebreaker and earned a one-stroke victory over Rensselaer Central (331) who finished in fifth place. Dane Bowditch shot a team-low 79 to help Pioneer advance to the regional for the first time in school history! Ivan Reyes carded an 80, and Micah Rans posted an 82; while, Brady Price and Tayt Smith each scored an 89 to contribute to the team advancement to the next IHSAA tournament series round.
